That means you need to increase the script execution time via server settings. Please contact your hosting provider and ask to set it to 150-180 seconds at least.

This can happen if you have imported the full sample content which includes woocommerce shop content as well without installing and activating the Woocommerce plugin first. If you don't need the shop functionality, just make sure to import the version of sample content which doesn't include woocommerce content. Note that even if you have imported the full sample content but don't need the shop functionality, the errors received will not affect other aspects of theme work so it's totally safe to continue building your theme from that point on.

Please go to appearance => Widgets section in your admin panel, open the first sidebar which appears on pre-generated sidebars list and remove the widgets inside.

The Wordpress mechanism does not allow to import the widgets and their content so this is the part you have to do manually. Check the widgets section of this documentation for more information on available widgets and options to create your own sidebars and put widgets there.

To have the slider displayed, you need to install the Revolution slider premium Wordpress plugin first. Check the plugins section of this documentation for more information on its installation and usage.

Go to SmartOn => Smarton settings section in your admin panel and check the "Layout type" option there.

Go to SmartOn => Header section in your admin panel and fill in your content in "Sliding panel info" field.
